Payment in China

Bank Card Payment

If you hold a bank card printed with logos of card networks such as UnionPay, Visa, or MasterCard, you can make card payments at merchant terminals displaying the corresponding acceptance logos. If no such logos are displayed at the merchant, please consult the cashier to confirm whether your card is accepted.

Mobile Payment (Alipay & WeChat Pay)

Mobile payments are conveniently available with just a mobile phone. Alipay and WeChat Pay are the most widely used mobile payment apps in China, both of which support international users and can be downloaded for free from your app store.
